John and Frank were the sons of Hiram Sizemore and Claudia Williams Sizemore Gibson. Frank was born
on October 22, 1933 at Hindman, Kentucky and John was born on May 24, 1938 at Hindman, Kentucky. They
are survived by one sister, Bertha Sizemore Mullins of Amburgey, Kentucky. Frank is survived by six sons,
Frank, Jr., Wayne, Larry, Eddie, David, and D.J., and one daughter, Diane. John is survived by three sons,
John Jr., Johnny, and Christopher, and two daughters, Heather and Vickie.
Both John and Frank grew up in Hindman and went to the Hindman Baptist Church until they went away to
work and married. They went to church two times a day on Sunday. Frank made a profession of faith and
joined the Church during his teenage days. John knew the value of the Lord and church and on his last night on
earth he called his sister wanting her to send someone to him. When his great nephew, Harold Mullins Jr.,
nephew, Greg Mullins, and brother, Frank, arrived he had already passed away.
During life John was a tree trimmer in Ohio and Florida. Frank was a typing mechanic in Florida. After their
mother passed away in March, 1993, they came back home to Knott County. John passed away on July 26,
2002 at U.K. Medical Center and Frank passed away on December 13, 2002 at Central Baptist Hospital in
Lexington. They had one brother deceased and two sisters. Sister Polly died two days after John did on July
28, 2002; Mary died on February 2, 1971 in Chicago. Deceased by one brother, Elijah, who died at age 10 at
Hazard. All 3 boys are buried beside their mother in the Amburgey cemetery at Hindman. Their sisters are
buried in Cincinnati beside their husbands.
