Homer (Reno) Watts was born on May 15, 1933 and passed from this life on January 2, 2006 at Hazard ARH,
being 72 years, 7 months and 16 days of age at the time of his passing.

Reno was the son of the late Wade and Maggie Amburgey Watts. Four sisters and two brothers preceded
him in death. Surviving are his wife, Patricia Combs Watts; 3 daughters, Debra Sparkman, Susan Watts, and
Durhonda (David) Johnson all of Litt Carr, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Jonathan Sparkman, Jessica
(Kenneth) Childers, Seth Corey Little, and Heath Johnson; and two great grandchildren, Jaiden Sparkman and
Kamryn Childers. Also surviving are his mother-in-law and special friend, Versie Reynolds, and a host of
nieces, nephews and good friends.

He spent four years in the Navy, was a mine inspector and a retired coal miner. Several years ago, he
joined and was baptized at the Tolson Creek Church, which was the joy of his life. We believe our loss is
Heaven’s gain.
